Kwame Gyamfi

Kwame Gyamfi began his coaching career in 2006 with the YMCA, building a strong foundation in youth football and leadership development. In 2008, he joined Lincoln East High School under Coach John Gingery, where he spent four seasons mentoring athletes and contributing to the overall success of the program.
He later became the Offensive Coordinator at Lincoln High School under Coach Mark Macke, where he coached for two seasons. As the running backs coach, Kwame helped develop two consecutive all-state running backs, reinforcing his ability to produce top-tier talent. During this time, he also served as Head of Football Programming for the YMCA, expanding access to structured football opportunities for youth in Lincoln.
Kwame served as Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs, and Special Teams Coordinator at Lincoln Lutheran for five seasons. There, he coached multiple all-conference receivers and one all-state standout, while implementing specialized position techniques and game-planning strategies. In 2021 and 2022, Kwame was named Dean of Coaches for Allo Youth Football, where he oversaw training, coach development, and league integrity. He also served as General Manager for the Capital City Silverbacks youth football program, managing team operations, recruitment, and development pipelines.
Kwame has written two football playbooks and published articles on wide receiver and defensive back play. After stepping away from coaching to support his son's high school football career, Kwame is now returning to the sidelines. He currently serves on the Leadership Team at the Malone Community Center, where he continues to lead community and youth engagement programs.
